Tsinghua High School students won the gold medal at the 16th Asian Physics Olympiad
On May 10, the 16th Asian Physics Olympiad came to an end in Zhejiang University, with 186 middle school students from 26 teams from 25 countries and regions taking part in the competition。Lu Yukun, a student from Class 1213 of Tsinghua High School, won the gold medal with outstanding results。

The Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) originated from the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) and is currently the most important physics competition in Asia。This year's Asian Physics Competition consists of theoretical and experimental exams, each lasting 5 hours, which is a great challenge to the knowledge, ability and physical fitness of the participants。The event not only featured teams from various Asian countries and regions, but also attracted teams from European and Oceanian countries such as Russia, Romania and Australia。Athletes selected by the Chinese team won 16 of the 43 gold MEDALS in the competition。
